Beta carotene is a provitamin A, ie, vitamin A is produced from beta-carotene in the body. Beta-carotene protects against the penetration of the respiratory tract infection, helps heal many eye diseases, supports healthy skin, teeth and gums. It is also involved in the development of immunoglobulins. Beta-carotene stimulates growth and bone formation. Its major function is to protect mucosa of the nose, mouth, larynx and lungs. Beta carotene protects the body from carcinogenic substances, along with vitamins E and C is important for the prevention of malignant tumors, it stimulates the immune system.
